The Death of Two Octobers

And the anger burns through. It sparks so strong, less personal than Potential; in these moments we’re a vessel.

Except for the poems in Appendix B … which we have to admit are rather personal.

Death of October
and the trees are stripped bare
suddenly

when you could, you could, you could
be a god
right along with me

the prouder they stand (in your bed)
the harder they fall
the louder they demand (in your bed)
the harder they fall
the crowd in their hands (in your bed)
the harder they fall

let them fall away (from me)

Death of October
and Queendoms rise
in my eyes (we can)

when we could, we could, we could
we could, we could (we can)
we could (we can)
we could (we go on)

(we can)
